Johns Hopkins Children's Center patients and staff helped cheer the Baltimore Ravens to victory in Super Bowl XLVII. Their "purple pride" was videotaped in the days leading up to Super Bowl, and a portion aired on NFL Countdown on ESPN, prior to the beginning of the game, Feb. 3.
The clip, below, was filmed by video producer Carlos Harris in the Department of Child Life at Hopkins Children's Center, and a copy forwarded to Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh, who shared it with his players before the game. Among the team's fans whom Harbaugh thanked in the victorious aftermath were "all the little kids at Johns Hopkins that sent that video."
