Biography
Ms.
Wilson received her original nursing education in the United Kingdom
and obtained her Master’s degree in nursing at Johns Hopkins University.
She joined the Division of Gastroenterology and Nutrition in 1994. She
has served on the board of the Association of Pediatric Gastroenterology
and Nutrition Nurses. She has also published several articles and book
chapters on pediatric gastroenterology. In her clinical practice she
provides care for children with inflammatory bowel disease, abdominal
pain, constipation, failure to thrive, celiac disease and other
disorders. As the clinical coordinator of the Pediatric Inflammatory
Bowel Disease Center, she works closely with patients with Crohn’s
disease and colitis and their families.

Lynn Mattis, MSN, RNClinical Nurse Specialist
As the clinical nurse specialist in the Division of Gastroenterology and Nutrition/Children's Nutrition Center, Ms. Mattis focuses on care of pediatric patients with digestive diseases especially those who require enteral and/or parenteral nutrition therapy. She is part of a multidisciplinary service which includes physicians, clinical dieticians, and a nutrition support pharmacist. Her primary job duties include 1) management and coordination of clinical care in the inpatient and outpatient settings, 2) education of staff, parents and patients, and 3) evaluation and study of clinical outcomes/clinical nutrition research.
