When you schedule an appointment with Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, you may visit any of the above locations. Directions and other information are provided for each of these sites.
Most outpatient appointments take place at the David M. Rubenstein Child Health Building, which is where our Pediatric Specialty Clinics and the Harriet Lane Clinic are located.
If you are staying overnight in the hospital, you will come to Johns Hopkins Hospital and be directed to the Children’s Medical Surgical Center.
Oncology patients are usually seen at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Care Center,while those with developmental disabilities visit the Kennedy Krieger Institute.
We are building a new Children’s Tower that is scheduled to open in 2012. This state-of-the-art, 12-story facility will have 205 private inpatient rooms, a 45-bed neonatal intensive care unit, a 40-bed pediatric intensive care unit, 10 pediatric surgical suites, telecommunications consult facilities, and dedicated inpatient and outpatient areas for translational research.
