Our New Home

At the corner of Wolfe and Orleans Street, Hopkins Children’s new building, the Charlotte R. Bloomberg Children's Center, is on the rise.

This 12-story hospital will have 205 private inpatient rooms, a 45-bed neonatal intensive care unit, a 40-bed pediatric intensive care unit, 10 pediatric surgical suites, telecommunications consult facilities, and dedicated inpatient and outpatient areas for translational research.

Adjoined to a new adult critical care tower, the pediatric hospital is scheduled to open in 2012. It will also be connected to the David M. Rubenstein Child Health Building.
