The Johns Hopkins Pediatric Sleep Center, accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, offers comprehensive evaluation and care for children with sleep and sleep-related breathing disorders, including:
The Center has a 4-bed state-of-the-art sleep laboratory located at the Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital in Baltimore. The laboratory, which operates 7 days a week, is dedicated to the care of pediatric patients with highly trained technicians and child-friendly rooms. Each room contains a second bed for a caregiver to spend the night with the child. The Center also includes the sleep clinic at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, where children are evaluated prior to an overnight sleep study. The Center also offers access to cognitive behavioral therapists to help patients and families cope with sleep disorders associated with anxiety.
