Biography:

Assistant Professor of Pediatric Infectious Diseases Aaron M. Milstone, M.D., joined Johns Hopkins in 2004 as a fellow in pediatric infectious diseases. A graduate of Yale University School of Medicine in 2000, he trained in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, completing a pediatric infectious disease research fellowship at Johns Hopkins in 2007. As an infectious disease consultant at Johns Hopkins, he is a member of its Hospital Epidemiology and Infection Control (HEIC) Committee. His research interests include the study of hospital acquired infections, antibiotic-resistant bacteria, and infection control in a hospital setting, with a focus on methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and respiratory viruses.
