Biography:
Dr. Ringel is the Director of the Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Co-Director of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program. He is involved in diagnostic and interventional catheterization with children and adults affected by congenital heart disease. He performs procedures such as non-surgical closure of Patent Ductus Arteriosus, non-surgical device closure of Atrial Septal Defect, stent enlargement of narrowed arterial or venous blood vessels, as well as balloon valvotomy for narrowed pulmonary or aortic valves.
