Biography:

Dr. Chatterjee served as Director of the Atherosclerosis and Vascular Biology program for Johns Hopkins Singapore and directs Lipid Vascular Biology and Drug discovery research at Johns Hopkins, Baltimore. He is also engaged in teaching at the Cell and Molecular Medicine graduate program to train PhD, MD candidates. He has published over 250 peer reviewed papers, review articles, book chapters and has many US and world-wide patents for his discoveries and inventions. He has founded a Biotechnology company and is actively engaged in translational research in US and with his collaborators in Singapore. Dr. Chatterjee has received several awards from the American Heart association for distinguished service, as well as the Distinguished Scientist award from Hon. Governor Parris Glendenning of Maryland, and several international awards: the Mizutani Foundation, Japan  and Ranbaxy International Award for Medical Research, India.
