The Johns Hopkins Children’s Center is a world renowned medical institution that helps save children’s lives and provides the best patient care possible.  Most of our young patients are from the state of Maryland and are treated regardless of their ability to pay.  To continue excellent care we need community support.  Unrestricted money raised for Hopkins Children’s helps pay for the needs of patients and their families and to support the special services Hopkins Children’s provides, such as:

Child Life Department - ensures that a child’s need for comfort, security, affection and play are met while the child is being hospitalized.

Harriet Lane Compassionate Care Program - provides emotional support to a patient and their family before and after the death of a child.

Family Advocacy and Child Abuse Prevention - an education program for parents and referral network for Baltimore City.

Bedside Parent Sleep Chairs - enables parents to room-in with their child.

Dental Services for Children – promotes dental health care and provides necessary dental treatments for children.

Patient Special Needs Fund - provides needy patients and families with funds for transportation, food, medications, home health equipment when income and insurance are not enough.
