Children’s Miracle Network

CMN LogoHopkins Children’s is a member hospital of the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN), an organization dedicated to helping raise funds and awareness for 170 children's hospitals throughout North America.

Every year, business and corporations around the country join CMN in raising money for their local CMN-designated hospital(s). They hold in-sotre promotions, golf tournaments and other fundraisers like car washes and bake sales. The following CMN-affiliates raise money, through stores in the Baltimore region, for Hopkins Children’s.

  • Auntie Anne’s stores collect money in canisters during the month of April and participates in “Miracle Pretzel Day,” April 26, 2009
  • Costco Wholesale holds an annual fundraising campaign, May 1-31, 2009
  • Credit Unions for Kids hosts an annual Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run
  • Dairy Queen runs a month-long (July 10-Aug. 13, 2009) campaign and participates in CMN’s “Miracle Treat Day”
  • Food Lion hosts two annual fundraising campaigns: June 2-23 and Sept. 30-Oct. 13, 2009
  • Great Clips hosts a “Miracle Month,” October, 2009, and participates in other fundraisers for Hopkins Children’s
  • Griffith Energy hosts an annual golf tournament to help raise money for items (like toys and rocking chairs) not covered by insurance
  • Marriott hosts an annual Regatta and Torch Relay, raising thousands of dollars
  • Rite Aid runs a fundraising “Miracle” campaign, Mar. 20-May 16, 2009
  • Superfresh hosts a summer 2009 “Miracle Month” to fundraise
  • Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club raise thousands of dollars at checkout lines, by asking shoppers if they would like to donate to CMN, and by hosting bake sales and golf tournaments.  The 2009 campaign: May 1-June 14
